Catholic Stickers & More Sacred Heart Prints

A College Student with a Vision Anna MacKellar

I am a small business owner and artist from Jonestown, TX. I am majoring in Digital Media Innovation and minoring in Business and Creative Writing at Texas State University. When I am not making stickers or studying, I am likely painting, reading, or exploring nature with friends and family. I also enjoy writing poetry, petting my dog, playing guitar, and drinking tea. Recently, I started a blog where I reflect on my personal faith journey and admiration for art.

I loved drawing and painting since before I could talk. Thankfully, my parents fostered this budding passion by taking me to art classes. As I grew up, I explored new mediums of visual art, and later discovered my love for creative writing. Sharing my creativity with others has always been important to me. In high school, I taught painting and poetry to middle schoolers and ran art camps during the summers. In 2017, I opened my first Etsy shop, where I sold custom pet portraits but the sales dropped off after a year. Last year, I opened my current Etsy shop, Sacred Heart Prints, where I sell Catholic stickers.

At the center of my identity, I am Catholic. I grew up in Orange County, California, in a thriving Catholic homeschooling community. My religious education came from a wonderful order of priests, called the Norbertines of St. Michael’s Abbey. My love for the faith flourished in college. I strive to put God first and glorify Him through all my creative endeavors.
